Servicing & Maintenance of OptimusCISS™ Continuous Ink Supply System (CISS)

OptimusCISS™ can be at service for long period of time. However, the efficiency and relies on the user.

Treat your CISS like your brand new car or your newly born baby. Protect it from all things that may cause damage.

Below are guidelines on how you can maintain your CISS that make it your partner in Business and personal printing needs.

GENERAL MAINTENANCE

• Severe dust in the area may cause damage to your CISS, however if you are in the dusty area, always put cover to your CISS and printer after use.
   
  
• Don’t let your CISS completely run out of ink. Refill the low level ink tank reservoir before it reaches 1 cm.
  
  
• Don’t put your CISS and Printer in direct sunlight.
  
  
• Don’t touches the Smart Chip with your finger, static electricity may cause damage to your CISS.
  
  
• It is recommended that you used your CISS once a month to avoid drying of ink usually in the nozzle part of the printer.
  
  
• Always place your CISS ink tank reservoir and Printer in the same level, placing your CISS ink tank higher than printer will cause too much pressure in the flow of ink and placing it lower than the printer will cause the CISS insufficient pressure that may cause undesired print result.
  
  
• Keep the printer and the ink tank reservoir bottles at the same horizontal line during the process of ink refilling.
